In ONION Nettle Sock Yarn we have replaced the synthetic fibers with nettle fibers, making it possible to knit durable socks in pure natural fibers. ONION Nettle Sock Yarn is pure pampering for your feet!
ONION Nettle Sock Yarn is a natural alternative to conventional sock yarn. Whereas traditional sock yarn typically consists of 75% wool and 25% polyamide, here the polyamide is replaced with nettle fibres. Nettle fibres provide the yarn with natural durability and breathability.
To ensure additional strength in high-wear areas such as heel and toe, we recommend knitting a reinforcing sewing thread together with the yarn in these areas.
