Bella by Permin is one of our colourful favourites and a true classic in our collection.
The classic blend of kid mohair and wool gives the yarn the characteristic long-haired look that knitters love. Bella is light, soft and warm, creating an airy and elegant result – even in larger projects such as sweaters, cardigans and dresses.
Bella by Permin is a versatile yarn that can be knitted on its own or held together with multiple strands depending on the desired look. Its lightness makes it possible to create everything from delicate, lightweight garments to more voluminous and chunky designs.
Although the recommended needle size is 6 mm, Bella by Permin can be knitted on anything from 3.5 mm to 15 mm needles. This provides great freedom to experiment with texture, density and style. The combination of its airy appearance and versatility has made Bella a favourite among many of today’s knitwear designers.
The colour palette offers a wealth of beautiful shades – from soft natural tones and delicate pastels to bright, colourful statement shades. For even more colour play, the yarn is also available as Bella Color by Permin, combining the same wonderful qualities with vibrant colour transitions.
Bella by Permin is made from 75% kid mohair, 20% wool and 5% polyamide and has a running length of approximately 145 m per 50 g.

- Washing instructions
When you have finished your knitting, we recommend that you wash it to have the stitches lie down nicely and evenly and to wash out any extra colour.
This yarn must be washed by hand to take care of the fibres in the yarn. Therefore, be gentle and avoid pulling the knitting too much. In addition, it is important to use wool washing liquid, which will care for and maintain the fibres in the yarn.
Roll your knitting in a towel and pull it out gently to the stated dimensions of the instruction. Let it dry lying flat on a towel.
