ONION´s yarns with natural fibres contain exclusively natural fibres.
Some qualities are mixtures of more fibres and the colours may appear slightly speckled, since the colors bind differently to the fibres, whilst other yarns are fully colored.
ONION’s yarns with ecological fibres contain exclusively natural fibres of which at least one of the fibres are ecological. Conventional cotton production is responsible for an important part of global pesticide use and the chemicals are not only polluting, they are also dangerous for the workers and they remain in the clothing. This is one important reason, that we focus on ecology in our cotton fibres.
All ONION yarns are produced in Europe by an Italian quality spinning mill.
